This paper is a result of our research of Islamic literature in Bali in 2008. We have discovered thirty-eight manuscripts that we can classify into three categories. The fitst category refers to tweleve manuscripts made of paper. The second category is tweleve manuscripts made of palm leaf: nine of them deal with Islam, two of them about Hinduism, and one of them is difficult to read. The third category is about fourteen Qur’anic manuscripts. In regard to Islamic literature in Bali, this category is unfortunately not taken care well.
